Importance Of Video & Photo
Do you utilize your content correctly? Clients solutions to their struggles are more than a photo or a video. Here I deep dive with what I've learned working with my clients.
As a growing photographer in the 21st century, much of my work also involves videography. Photography is just as vital as videography; it completes the package.
Before anyone invests fifteen seconds to a minute in your video, they will most likely want to know who you are and the type of content you create.
It was surprising when people began contacting me asking, "Do you take photos?" It's too vague unless they are referring to photos directed towards families and events.
Photography varies for each situation. While creating work for my clients, I've noticed it's essential to be transparent with the client, including ensuring the client is transparent as well.
There have been times when clients approach me, wanting either a video or photos. The question arises: "What are they for?"
That's where I step in and offer detailed packages that yield specific results. At a foundational level, photography for social media helps narrate a story and serves as an effective way to capture viewers' attention.
Headshots - They can be used for your profession or as a creative
Brand Shoot - Used to market any products sold under your brand
Campaigns - Creating undeniable and iconic photography to stand out on your website, magazine, or on social medias to tell a story to your viewer base
Videography is employed to expand one's audience and attract new viewers daily.
Photos on social media target the community or audience you've already established, maintaining engagement by consistently sharing content.
As you develop your brand across multiple platforms, each platform utilizes various elements such as profile pictures, posts, reels, stories, and long-form content. Each strategy yields different outcomes based on the content type.
I'm beginning to comprehend the issues my clients face. Through this process, I gain clarity in refining solutions to meet their needs.
The video, created for a client, showcased my understanding of how long-form videos perform on Facebook and the types of videos that resonate well with viewers.
The video aimed to attract more attention to his youth football camp. It's just shy of reaching 2,000 views without any advertisements.
If the video were transformed into a reel, its performance would likely be less effective. Crafting a successful reel involves analyzing trends, incorporating suitable audio, optimizing the video layout, and targeting the right audience.
By focusing on addressing problems and providing a detailed plan, I aim to deliver value to my clients.
This blog post about long-form videos, reels, stories, and posts will spotlight the issues my services address in my marketing efforts.
